Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a common disorder of the skin where pigment is lost. It is an autoimmune disease affecting 0.5% to 2% of the world’s population. Vitiligo often presents as acquired, small, asymmetrical lesions that tend to increase in size over time and become more numerous. Although vitiligo can occur in any area of the body, the face is commonly affected.
Qualifying Criteria:
- 18 years and older
- Vitiligo involving face.
- No treatments being used.
Qualified participants will:
- Receive study related exams and treatment at no cost.
- Receive reimbursement for time and travel.
