Kenna Smith, DNP, FNP-C

Kenna Smith is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who believes great dermatology is about more than skin; it’s about confidence, comfort, and feeling truly cared for. Her passion for dermatology began through her own personal skin journey, giving her a firsthand understanding of how transformative the right treatment can be. That experience shapes the way she connects with patients today.

Kenna earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah in 2025, where she completed advanced training in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Before specializing in dermatology, Kenna worked for two years as an emergency department nurse at Level I and Level IV trauma centers. This experience sharpened her clinical instincts and taught her how to stay calm and compassionate in any situation.

Kenna enjoys the full spectrum of dermatologic care but especially loves helping patients regain confidence through personalized skin treatment and care. What truly sets Kenna apart is her approach. She takes the time to listen, asks thoughtful questions, and makes sure patients feel heard. Her care is detailed and tailored to each individual, with the goal of helping patients leave feeling confident and comfortable in their skin.

In her free time, you can find Kenna chasing around her two young boys, planning her next trip, trying new restaurants with her husband, or hosting thoughtful gatherings that bring her favorite people together. She happily avoids anything involving the word “cooking,” watches the Harry Potter series at least once a year, and never passes up the chance to dance her heart out at a great concert!
