About Dr. Ding
Dr. Hu Ding was born in Jiangxi, China. He attended and earned his MD degree at Gannan Medical College in 1982 and then PhD degree of Pathology at Tongji Medical University in 1986. He then worked at Tingji Medical University as an assistant professor of Pathology. He moved to US for better professional opportunity in 1990, at UCLA, Harbor Medical Center, as a research fellow. Starting in 2000, he pursued his five-year long pathology residency training in Medical School of Case-Western University and Medical School of University of Utah, then one-year pathology fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at Los Angeles. After finishing his pathology training, he worked at OUR Lab, a commercial pathology laboratory, as the Chief and Medical Director of Arizona operation. He moved to Salt Lake City in 2006 and since then has been working at Lakeview Hospital Department of Pathology, as the Chief and Medical Director. In 2008, Dr. Ding joined South Jordan Dermatology Center, as the in house pathologist. In his research career, Dr. Ding published over 50 research articles and reviews. Dr. Ding is board certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology and is subspecialized in surgical pathology, in particular, dermatopathology, GI pathology, and GU pathology. Dr. Ding is married and has three lovely children including two daughters and one son.
