What is MiraDry?
MiraDry is an advanced system that uses thermal energy to treat overactive sweat glands. Once the treatment destroys your sweat glands, they permanently stop functioning. This means you can enjoy yourself without ruining your clothes, smelling, or displaying visible sweat stains throughout the day.
At the start of your MiraDry treatment, Dr. Forsha and his team numb your armpits. Then, they glide the MiraDry handpiece across the skin in your armpits to create and deliver heat to your sweat glands. The system also includes a cooling effect to help stop you from overheating and a suctioning effect to bring your sweat glands closer to your skin’s surface.
Most people only need one MiraDry treatment to successfully eliminate the sweat and odor glands from their armpits. A few people need two treatments to enjoy the full effect.
What does MiraDry treat?
